Green Tea Snog (Matcha Frozen Yogurt)

At the end of last summer, a group of us met for sushi to say goodbye to our friend Ellen - it was sad because she's so awesome, and goodbyes suck. It also kind of felt like the first nail in summer's coffin, if you know what I mean. Anyway, after sushi we wandered over to Snog and got frozen yogurt - I had matcha green tea with berries - and sat in the weird glow of Soho until it was time to finally part ways.

But it's not all sadness and gloom - Ellen is getting married this summer, and I'll get to see her again! Woo! So, in the spirit of weddings and love and romance, here's a big ol' snog:

Green Tea Snog (Matcha Frozen Yogurt)
Serves 2-4

1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup milk (or a bit more, depending on how thick your plain yogurt is)
1-2 tablespoons honey
About 1/4 cup matcha drink mix powder (I got this in the bulk section of Save-On, but they'll most likely have it at other supermarkets in the Asian/ethnic foods aisle)
Berries, to serve

Put it all in a blender and blitz until the powder has completely dissolved and everything's smooth. Pour into a re-sealable container and put in the freezer for about 3-4 hours. If you leave it in longer, you'll just need to let it soften at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping. Serve with raspberries, blueberries, pomegranate seeds - whatever seems most snog-worthy to you.
